To me this album is better than the first. It's so under appreciated compared to the first but they have some really incredible tracks on here. Anagram and teachers are my favorite

Young the Giant are so talented. They are one of the few bands that can create an amazing overall album. I’ve listened to them and only them for months. They deserve many more fans, and you should definitely give them a try, you’ll LOVE them. Hands down favorite band.

another brilliant album from a tremendous band. Mind Over Matter is so deep and full of reliable passion. I can't get enough. this and their self-titled debut is are those albums you can just listen to through and through and never get tired of. ytg is my favorite band and I'm so proud of these amazing guys. mind over matter it doesn't matter!!!

My only problem with this album is that some of the songs feel a little superficial with the electric tones added. I much preferred them using just instruments, and I think it gave it a much deeper feeling. Although I don't particularly like that, I did like the album overall.
  • I love this band !
